Frequently Asked Questions about the GutterMaxx® System

Q: How much will GutterMaxx® cost per linear foot?

A: We'll need to briefly examine your home. That's why we send an estimator to give you a quick, free estimate. Our cost to erect your System depends very much on how your home is designed, the type of roof, fascia and shingles you have installed, the number and type of corners on your house, any possible damage you've suffered, and other factors.

But it won't take our estimator very long to prepare exact numbers for you - and to answer any detailed questions you might have about getting the protection of a GutterMaxx® System for your home.

Q:
A salesman for a competitor told me GutterMaxx® is big and bulky!

A: Our system is just exactly the right size to protect your house - and the perfect size to be very graceful and beautiful. When you've seen GutterMaxx® on a house, you'll agree!

When our Estimator stops by to prepare a free estimate for you, he'll give you a local reference list with at least 200 names on it! That includes addresses, and phone numbers, so you can verify that our customers are VERY pleased with their GutterMaxx Systems!

GutterMaxx® is just wide enough to cover and protect the most vulnerable wood on your home's overhang. It's graceful and stylish enough for even the most gracious home. Other systems, by comparison, look thin, small, and flimsy (really!) and they leave your wood exposed to the elements and to possible damage. The GutterMaxx® System is very effective protection, and very attractive on a home.

Q: Why are you so sure the GutterMaxx® System won't clog?

A: It's the way it's engineered and installed! It's designed so that leaves and other debris will flow over and past the GutterMaxx® hood, while water is taken inside and flows into your downspout system and away. And, incidentally, it takes a two-piece system to do that the best way, to give your home the best results and protections, without compromises. "One-piece" isn't always the best idea, even though it's a great marketing slogan for one of our competitors. Ever try to drive a "one-piece" car. or install a one-piece door? You'd have to leave out important parts that make a door much easier to use and more practical and secure.

Q: What about Fir Needles, Pine Needles and Oak Seeds?

A: It works great with fir and pine needles, and of course with leaves and other organic debris!

Q: Why is the GutterMaxx TWO-piece System "superior" to hoods and one-piece products?

A: Compare GutterMaxx to other leaf-free systems and one-piece hoods!

Only the GutterMaxx® system offers two water entry points
and a "Snap-on Snap-off" cover. That two-way flow creates a self-flushing system -- it's the only Permanent Solution to give you non-clogging gutters. GutterMaxx is designed to allow some debris to enter, so that it will capture the MAXIMUM amount of rainwater -- and then flushes debris away and down the downspouts. No problem! No clogging!

Watch your roof during a rain! Your own eyes will show you that water flowing off your roof during a rainshower usually has some small leaf-debris pieces embedded deeply in the water. If you want your system to catch the maximum amount of waterflow, your system needs to be able to tolerate some debris without clogging up. GutterMaxx can, and does, and you'll reap the benefits of better water capture and no clogging!

Beware of products that say "we never allow ANY debris to enter our System" -- it's just a gimmick, and such second- and 3rd-generation systems won't capture as much water as GutterMaxx can, in equivalent roof and rainfall conditions! They just can't!

Q: What no-clog Guarantee do you give on the GutterMaxx® System?

A: You'll have the industry's strongest guarantee: if leaves or needles ever do block the inside of a GutterMaxx® system, we'll come to your home and unclog it, for free!

Q: How durable is the GutterMaxx® System?

A: For starters, you'll have an extensive, common-sense GutterMaxx warranty on the materials. There's even a 20-year metal manufacturer's warranty on the baked-on enamel finish to assure you that it won't chip, peel, or crack. We use top-quality materials. With GutterMaxx's superior engineering and professional installation, your home will have a beautiful, durable, non-clogging rain-gutter system.

Q: How much water can GutterMaxx® carry?

A: More than the leading competition! GutterMaxx's wider hood, two-way water flow route, and its special, computer-designed contoured hood catch more water than any simple one-piece "leaf handling" system.

So, your GutterMaxx® System can take in and carry away a MAXIMUM amount of water, more than competitive systems -- with no clogging. Don't forget, that's what you need a gutter system for: carrying away rain-water!
